The Hightstown Environmental Commission is sponsoring a live Christmas tree drive this year.  Residents of Hightstown and surrounding communities are encouraged to buy a live balled Christmas tree (fir or spruce preferred) that will be planted in the borough. Live tree donations are tax deductible and will help the borough's efforts to be "green" and sustainable. After the holidays, Hightstown residents may call Public Works (490-5115) to get trees picked up, while those outside the Hightstown community may drop their trees off in the Rocky Brook Park parking lot on Bank Street.
