The League of Women Voters of East Windsor Hightstown will hold candidate forums for Hightstown Council candidates and East Windsor Regional School District School Board candidates tonight at Hightstown High School in the Media Room (#601).

Three Hightstown Council candidates, Gail Doran, Denise Hansen, and Larry Quattrone, will participate in the forum from 7-8 p.m. 

Candidates for the East Windsor Regional School District Board of Education will participate in the forum from 8:10-9:10 p.m. Peter Bussone, Paul Connolly, Lilia Gobaira, Kennedy Paul, and Alice Weisman will participate.

Questions from the audience, the general public, and League members will be asked by Karen Siracusa, a League-trained moderator from West Windsor.

These forums are one part of the League's work to encourage active, informed participation in government.

Deborah Macmillan, president of the local League, extends a welcome to all registered voters in Hightstown and East Windsor who wish to learn more about the upcoming election.
