Donate to the Rise Bicycle Program

  • March 24, 2012

Greater Goods Thrift Store, in conjunction with Rise Community Services, is collecting gently used bicycles to refurbish and sell at discounted prices to struggling workers in our community.

As gas prices and the temperature gets warmer, bicycles are an inexpensive and healthy way to get to around. For many struggling families who rely on taxi companies and public transportation, bicycles offer an affordable and convenient method to get around town.

Greater Goods Thrift Store will accept bicycles in any condition. The Rise Bicycle Program is being funded in part by the East Windsor Police Benevolent Association local #191. Spare parts are being provided by Van Delfino, owner of the Bicycle Rack in Hightstown.

Please drop off your bicycles at 114 Rogers Ave, Hightstown Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All donations to the Rise Bicycle Program are tax deductible and very much appreciated.
