Accident Causing Traffic on Rt. 130
Facebook readers are reporting an accident on Route 130.
Patch is receiving reports of a three-car accident on the northbound side of Route 130.
Posters on Facebook say northbound traffic appears to be detouring onto Conover Road, and then coming back onto the highway via the parking lot of a nearby store.
The accident occured at around 4:30 p.m.

When, oh, When is East Windsor and the DOT going to align Conover Road with Hankins road and put an end to the accidents at the corner of Conover and rt. 130?? Does someone need to die before it's done?? Making the left turn from Conover onto 130, especially when Rt. 130 is busy is so very dangerous. My understanding is that the township got the approval for this LAST year but nothing has happened. Can the Patch find anything out??

Mararet, You are absolutely right. That is such a dangerous left turn. It's high time the township moves forward and align the Conover road to the Hankins road traffic light. What is the delay?

This really should be a priority at this time. Too many people are tempted to make a left onto rt 130 when this was never the intention of that intersection. Align with Hankins Road or put a light. Next problem having Airport Road continue through to Route 130.

My wifes car was hit pertty bad when she was 'waiting' to make a right onto Rt.130 from Conover. It was the other drivers fault but, still it endangered not only his life but, also the my wife's life and the co-passengers. I dont know why there is a delay in aligning Conover with Hankins and also find a safe way to make a left from Rt. 130 to Conover Rd.
