East Windsor Blotter: Pot Possession, Burglary, Thefts
A compilation of recent arrests in East Windsor.

Drug Offense
Timothy Herlihy, 19, of Roosevelt was arrested about 9:05 p.m. on Feb. 12 and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams after the vehicle he was driving was stopped by Officer Troy McWhorter on Etra Road. Police said McWhorter initiated the traffic stop after observing Herlihy’s 1999 Oldsmobile traveling on Twin Rivers Drive near Milford Road with defective lights.
Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer allegedly smelled an odor of marijuana. “Investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of a bag of marijuana. The suspect was arrested and later released pending court action,” police said.

Burglary
Police are investigating a burglary in which computer equipment worth $750 was stolen from a home on Evans Avenue between 6:15 a.m. and 7:05 p.m. on Feb. 12. Police said the burglar entered the home via an unsecured rear window.

Theft
A salt spreader valued at about $1,000 was stolen from the Windsor Castle apartment complex sometime between 10 p.m. on Feb. 18 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 19, police said, noting that the spreader had been left unsecured outside a maintenance building.

Theft
Police are investigating the theft of a purse that was taken from an unsecured locker in one of the locker rooms of Gold’s Gym on Route 33 sometime between 7 and 9 p.m. on Feb. 6. The purse contained several credit cards, personal papers and two gift cards. Some of the stolen cards were used to make fraudulent transactions at local businesses.
