East Windsor Man Charged with Aggravated Assault with Weapon

The Windsor Castle Apartments resident reportedly struck a minor with a wooden club during a fight.

 

Pedro Lopez, of East Windsor, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 22 and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon stemming from a fight that broke out at the park on Westfield Road, East Windsor Police reported.

Lopez, 31, allegedly struck a juvenile victim with a wooden club during the fight. Police responded to the park shortly after 3 p.m. on Friday to the report of a fight involving group of people. However, the group had disbanded and scattered prior to police arrival.

East Windsor Police located an adult and a juvenile from the group on Lincoln Avenue in Hightstown a short time later. Both individuals had lacerations on their torsos and were transported to University Medical Center at Princeton and were later released, according to police.

Police are continuing to investigate this fight and more charges are anticipated to be filed.

A known drug dealer beating others with a wooden club (baseball bat I'm sure) roaming my neighborhood...lovely...how about sending Pedro to state prison or back to his country. I am sick of the scum taking over what was once a nice, safe, small town.
