Updated 1:30 p.m. Monday: Jersey Central Power & Light has restored all power in East Windsor, Cranbury and Hightstown following a thunderstorm Saturday, according to the outage map.

First reported 3:30 p.m. Sunday: More than 150 East Windsor residents could remain without power into Monday while utility crew continue to make repairs after a powerful storm swept through the region Saturday, a utility spokesman said.
Late last night Jersey Central Power & Light reported more than 1,700 East Windsor customers without power following the storm.
TJ Maxx, Perkins and Kentucky Fried Chicken were among stores that remained without power Sunday evening.
Spokesperson John Anderson said 20,000 customers in central New Jersey lost power at the peak of the outages, but did not have specific numbers for East Windsor, Cranbury and Hightstown Sunday afternoon.
At least one resident reported an outage in a portion of the Windsor Mill development.
Anderson said Freehold suffered the majority of damage.
The JCP&L outage map shows 167 customers in East Windsor and less than 5 customers in each Cranbury and Hightstown without power as of 3 p.m. Sunday. Public Service Electric and Gas reported no outages in the local area.
Those without power may pick up water and ice at ShopRite.

These storms are whipping-up seemingly out of nowhere. Witness Sunday's line of storms which I observed from some distance and saw slanted sheets of rain falling north of Princeton and sweeping to the east/southeast until they hit Princeton Meadows 20 minutes later at around 6 PM. I hope everyone is safe, first and foremost, and that all respect the power of Nature.
