Hightstown High School named Ankita Naraparaju as this year's Scholar Athlete.
Naraparaju is ranked number one in her class, and is actively involved in the school community as well as the community at large, according to the high school. She was also a valuable member of the girls tennis team during her tenure at Hightstown High School.
The NJSIAA will recognize Naraparaju at a banquet on May 20 at Pines Manor in Edison.
