Letter to the Editor: Unfair Tactics in Hightstown Borough Council Election
Hightstown Democratic Club member laments candidate sign removal
To the Editor,
I was hoping for at least one campaign without illegal sign removal.
Three lawn signs for Larry Quattrone and Gail Doran were removed by unknown parties. I have reported the matter to the police.
It seems most unfortunate that these nasty tactics are at play, which subvert the democratic process. Fairness dictates that we respect each person's right to express his or her political opinion without fear or intimidation.

Are you sure the signs weren't removed for the storm? Some candidates removed their signs from lawns so they don't become airborne projectiles during Hurricane Sandy.

Nope, mine was snatched a week ago. So now, my mind is made up, was split on my decision. Now, going totally democrat.

Well that's just ridiculously childish then... elections turn seemingly normal, sensible people into raving, insane lunatics.
