Both of these guys are party hacks. NJ deserves better and smarter. They both just spouted party adjenda,word for word, with no reference to any creative change that will alter the status quo. Neither really wants to change, they both want to remain FAT CATS. I want REAL change, so I am looking at Independants also. I would suggest Robert Turkavadge. Google him. EX-FBI, corruption fighter, Washington and NJ experience, term limited, high moral family guy, looks good to me. This two party system is killing the taxpayers both locally and federally. Future US NJ Senator Turkavadge will do better because it can't get much worse!!!!!

And Kyrillos looks out for the middle class??? He has failed to say anything about the corruption plaguing the Monmouth County Sheriff's Department. Why? Because his friend Kim Guadagno is implicated in the fraud. And just yesterday he refused to overide Governor Christie's veto making the Port Authority of NY/NJ more accountable and transparent.

If he is going to do these things contrary to taxpayer/constituents in this state, what the hell is he going to to for Americans in Washington?

Menendez like Kryillos has done nothing! but your previous post makes it sounds like Kryillos has the middle class in mind--nothing could be further from the truth!

Menendez brought programs to NJ? brought money for NJ Transit, Then Why did they raise the fares to where it is almost cheaper to drive. So much for GREEEEEEN initiatives. Two three years ago he was bragging that he wrote Obama care now he says he doesnt what to raise taxes, well with Obama care Tax increases are a given. He is a liberal hypocrit and is only visible during election. Maybe Kryillos will be the same, but I will give him a chance, and if he is no good, vote him out.

Personal opinion. Every incumbent in office over two terms whether local state or federal should be voted out of office. As a rather astute pumper sticker (one never knows where one may find words of wisdom) pointed out: Politicians and baby diapers need to be changed often and for the same reason!

As regards those PISA scores, when poverty is taken into account, US schools in the suburbs (with much lower levels of poverty) do just as well as and often better than the best performing international schools. The higher performing international schools are doing none of the horrible things we are doing in the US: such as NCLB, RTTP, charter schools, school vouchers or home schooling. Home schooling is illegal in Germany and does not exist in Finland. Those higher performing countries have not declared war on public schools, public school teachers and their unions as we have in the US. All the Finnish teachers are unionized, there is no version of Mitt Romney or Chris Christie waging 24/7 non stop war against the teacher unions.

I am tired of walking into a store or reading a cereal box that is also written in Spanish. I am tired of making a phone call and being told to "press 1 for English", etc. No one catered to my Italian ancestors… they had to learn English! So why did Menendez (and Lautenberg) vote against making English the official language of the United States of America? I see catering to any particular group contributing to the dividing of America.

I like what Mr Sal Petoia is saying. I often feel like a foreigner right here at the Jersey Shore, that is sad. Learn English or get out.

Republican Tea Partier Senator Rand Paul wants US funding eliminated in countries like Libya yet now Republicans are critical of the lack of protection for our embassy there? Republicans apparently want it BOTH Ways they want protection of Embassys but then they don't want to pay for it. Confusing.
