Readers' Choice: Vote for the Best Restaurant on a Budget

Patch readers nominated the best restaurant on a budget in East Windsor, Cranbury and Hightstown, so vote to determine which one is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Where is the best restaurant to visit when you're on a budget in East Windsor, Cranbury and Hightstown? Cast your vote to let us know.

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the area to participate.

Nominations were accepted on East Windsor Patch through July 9 and include:

Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.

The poll will open to accept votes from registered Patch users starting on July 23 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 17.

My Favorite Restaurant on a budget is the Bust Stop Diner in Carteret, NJ. The food is good and they give you so much you can eat off of it for 2-3 days. Now that helps my budget. I take my 90 year old Mom and myself there at leat 2-3 times a week and we use the leftovers for the next day's lunc or dinner.

Teddy's in Cranbury. Serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. Has a family friendly atmosphere, BYOB, great burgers (never frozen), can't beat it!

The Hightstown Diner great friendly place to eat an affordable meal friendly staff.
Casual atmosphere, The staff make you feel like family.
And Terry the owner can make some excellent cheesecakes

The hightstown diner is a great place to eat. The owner makes you feel at home and the staff is very attentive and friendly. And you can't beat thier $4 lunch specials!
