Old Trenton Road Resurfacing Pending

Detours will reroute non-local drivers during off-peak hours

 

UPDATE: Construction has been delayed. East Windsor Township Mayor Janice Mironov estimates work to begin in early October.

Old Trenton Road, or County Route 535, will undergoing construction between Princeton-Hightstown Road in East Windsor and Dorchester Drive in West Windsor.

Weather permitting, work should be completed by mid-October.

All non-local traffic will be detoured between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The detour route substitutes Village Road, Southfield Road, and Princeton-Hightstown Road.

Access for local residents and businesses on Old Trenton Road will be permitted, as well as buses, mail, refuse collection, and emergency services. All other traffic is to utilize the posted detour route.

How about resurfacing rt 130, between Dey Rd. and Hawkins, which has been in need of repair forever!
