Passengers Rob Cab Driver at Gunpoint in East Windsor

Cash was taken and the assailants fled on foot, police said.

 

Three passengers robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint Monday night at the Windsor Castle apartments in East Windsor, police said.

The assailants were being dropped off at the apartments, and before leaving they robbed the female cab driver at gunpoint around 9:45 p.m., took cash and fled on foot, East Windsor police said. The men were described as two black males and one white male with red hair. 

A detailed description of the robbers was not available and there were no injuries reported.

According to NJ.com the passengers were picked up on Academy St. What a surprise.
