Check out one of Mercer County’s wonderful parks and ice skate, visit with ducks, or meet a horse doctor. It’s all here.

  • The Mercer County Park Ice Rink will be open on Friday, March 8 for the last day of the season.  Senior skate (62 and older) is from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Public skate is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and again from 7:45 to 10 p.m. Call 609-371-1766 for more information.
  • On Saturday, visit the Howell Living Farm, 70 Wooden’s Lane, Lambertville, and visit with a horse doctor, dentist and shoer. Or more information, call 609-737-3299.
  • Even though the rink is closed to the public, you can still get your ice skating fix. Visit at 1:30 p.m. for the free Annual Skating Exhibition featuring national level competitors and Mercer County Group Lesson Skaters performing individual and group numbers.
  • On Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m., come by for a winter duck walk. For more information, call 609-303-0706 or email  jrogers@mercercounty.org
