Police said he used lighter fluid to set the fire.

A 15-year-old male was charged after setting a fire in the closet of the master bedroom at a Conover Road house Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

After an argument at the house, he set the fire using lighter fluid, East Windsor police said Thursday. The fire caused extensive damage in the master bedroom.

The fire was reported around 2 p.m. and there were no injuries, police said. The teenager was charged with aggravated arson Wednesday night and sent to the Mercer County Youth Detention Center.

East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company #1, East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company #2, Robbinsville Fire Company, Hightstown Engine Company, Plainsboro Fire Company, West Windsor Fire Company and East Windsor Rescue Squad District 1 responded to the scene.

This young man needs help. An argument should not lead to arson.

Shame on you for posting those comments about the family. It is an act of cowardice to say inflammatory things and delete them afterwards. That shows a lot about your character. Looks like you are not perfect either. Set an example for your kids! How do you like being under public scrutiny? Gossip Monger!

What keeps happening to the comments???? Some pretty serious censorship going on here at the Patch! Guess they don't want people discussing things even though they put in a comments box.......
