Jessie Mae, Jessie for short, is an American Staffordshire Terrier, spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. Jessie has to eat special food due to food allergies and receives ½ of a sweet potato in my breakfast and a big spoonful of green beans at dinner. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle, but also loves playing with dog toys and going for walks. She is completely house and crate trained. Jessie stays in a crate when the family is at work or runs errands, and knows commands including sit, come, heal, off, leave it, wait, paw, kisses and crate, and walks well on a leash too.
Riley is a two-year-old male and up to date on all vaccinations. She is calm and likes to cuddle and be held, but doesn't like living with other animals.

Paulie is a tricolor 8-to-9-year-old beagle mix. He is a very loving dog - content to lay on his bed all day beside you, or go outside and play. He loves taking walks and is learning very quickly to properly walk on a leash. He loves food and will sit perfectly for a treat! He gets along well with other dogs and would love a home with some doggie friends, but would also be content as an only dog. He is doing very well in his foster home and would do best with a stay-at-home parent.
Robin is currently a resident of the Hamilton Animal Shelter. He is happy, smart and energetic. A good run seems to settle him out a bit, but a yard and family is just what he needs.

There are many animals up for adoption at Animal Friends for Education and Welfare. The descriptions above, provided by AFEW, are of the featured pets of the week.

Interested in adopting a pet? Call 609-448-5322 or visit the AFEW website. AFEW also holds adoption days on Saturday at Corner Copia Farm Nursery from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
