Seven Cars Burglarized in East Windsor Last Week

All the cars were unlocked, police said.

Seven unlocked cars were burglarized last week in East Windsor between Tuesday and Friday, according to police.

A GPS was taken from cars on both Allison Road and Hickory Corner Road, and a purse was stolen from an unlocked car at Walmart, police said. In the Wawa parking lot, a laptop was stolen from a car, and on Fairfield Road loose change and cash was taken.

Police are investigating the burglaries as though they are related, said Detective Sgt. James Geary.

Police recommend residents lock their cars when they are not in them, especially overnight.
