Severe Thunderstorms Predicted Through Tuesday Evening
The storms could produce heavy rain, localized flooding, hail and lightning.
The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for thunderstorms throughout Tuesday evening. The forecast is calling for a cold front to cut into today's high temperatures, which could produce several severe thunderstorms in the area.
The storms are predicted to yield heavy rain, which could produce localized flooding.
The NWS also warns of the possibility for "damaging lightning strikes," large hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph.
The storms are expected to develop around 7 p.m., according to the NWS.
