On the first day of Christmas, AFEW shared with me: a senior Beagle named Paulie.
Paulie is a tricolor, 8 to 9-year-old beagle mix. He is a very loving dog - content to lay on his bed all day beside you, or go outside and play with you! He loves taking walks and walks properly on a leash. He loves food and will sit perfectly for a treat! He gets along well with other dogs and would love a home with some doggie friends, but would also be content as an only dog. Animal Friends for Education and Welfare

Chloe and Zoe are polydactyls! They sure have those extra toes! Both are feisty, friendly, and playful. They love their human companions as well as the company of other cats. They are very people friendly and love attention. Credit Animal Friends for Education and Welfare

AFEW is featuring a different adoptable pet each day in "The 12 Pets of Christmas." Check their facebook page each day to see the featured adoptable pet of the day.

AFEW will also be holding a special adoption day at CornerCopia this Saturday, Dec. 15th. Brother John will come at 11 a.m. to "Bless the Beasts." Bring your pet or a photo to receive a blessing. There will also be a time to remember pets who are no longer with us. AFEW is also collecting toys and personal items to benefit The Children's Home Society of NJ.

There are many animals up for adoption at Animal Friends for Education and Welfare. The descriptions above, provided by AFEW, are of the featured pets of the week.
