Belle is very friendly, and loves to ride in the car. She is well behaved, housebroken, loving, and enjoys being handled and brushed. She still needs some leash training but is learning quickly.
Betsy is a little shy but very loving and wants a new home to call her own. With a little time and loving she will come around to be that special little girl that will make your heart smile.
Emma is residing at the Hamilton Animal Shelter. She is an older dog but in good health. Emma walks well on a leash, has good manners, and a big smile - just for you! Emma is looking for a home - either a foster or permanent one. She has been in the shelter for way too long. Her number is No. 70 from 2012. If you can find it in your heart and a little space in your home for Emma she would be most appreciative.
Maribel loves company - she will follow you around the house, find a place to sit, and will watch everything you do. She’s not so much of a lap cat, she’s more of a sit next to you cat who loves a good belly rub and a good stretch. Maribel has a unique feature - a triangle “goatee” of fur growing out from under her chin.
Presley and Lilly. Presley (in the black) is a male Bichon mix and Lily (in red) a maltese mix. They are both good with children and other dogs. They love to be held and petted. Two very sweet guys that AFEW is trying to keep together.

There are many animals up for adoption at Animal Friends for Education and Welfare. The descriptions above, provided by AFEW, are of the featured pets of the week.

Interested in adopting a pet? Call 609-448-5322 or visit the AFEW website. AFEW also holds adoption days on Saturday at Corner Copia Farm Nursery from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
