Weekend Guide: Family Night in the Park
Art exhibit, concerts and farmers markets.
East Windsor will present a Family Night in the Park, beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Etra Lake Park.
Activities will include inflatable rides, games and vendors. There will also be a showing of the movie "Cars 2," which is about the adventures and friendship of racecar Lightning McQueen and tow truck Mater.
Friday, July 27:
- The Gourgard Gallery is presenting the exhibit “Flora, Fauna and Mystical” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit features paintings by Linda Gilbert.
- The Hickory Corner Branch of the Mercer County Library will present a Library Catalog Class at 10 a.m. The class will teach participants how to place holds, view an account and get better results when searching the online catalog.
- Hightstown Memorial Branch of the Mercer County Library will present a Pat McKinley Sing-Along, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
- The Cranbury Farmers' Market will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at Park Place West on Grass Common Area. Items for sale include fruits and vegetables, honey, baked goods, flowers and crafts.
- The Hightstown Farmers Market will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hightstown Memorial Park. In addition to vendors selling fresh goods, the market also offers live music and paddle boat rides in Peddie Lake.
- Beth El Synagogue will hold a Prospective Member Shabbat at 6 p.m. The Shabbat will feature services, followed by dinner.
Saturday, July 28:
- Hightstown Memorial Branch of the Mercer County Library will host a Youth Stages Drama Workshop at 11 a.m. Kids ages six to 10 can participate in this drama program based on Mary Pope Osborne's Magic Tree House book, "Midnight on the Moon."
- Second Time Around will perform a concert Molto Bene Cafe & Italian Market, beginning at 6 p.m. The duo consists of guitarist-singers Natalie Ortega and Caila Cabrera, who recently released their first single "Wreck Over You" on iTunes.
- Station Bar and Grill will hold its monthly Karaoke Night, beginning 8 p.m.

What day is night in the park?? There is no date associated with the article for it. I see friday and saterday with a list under it but the Family night just says 7pm. with no date...

Why cn I never find directions to Etra Lake park??? Also what night is the Family night? It is not specified on this page.

Jennifer - Etra Lake Park is at Milford Road and Etra Road. If you click the link to "Etra Lake Park" it provides more details to it. The event is Saturday night.
