Free Tax Preparation for individuals and families making less than $50,000 at the Twin Rivers Branch of the Mercer County Library. Appointments are required, call for appointment and required paperwork. Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fish Fryday at Hightstown Elks Lodge. The dinner, which happens every Friday during Lent offers your choice of fish fillet, fish and shrimp or salmon. Sides include spaghetti with clam or marinara sauce or french fries. Salad, dessert and coffee/tea included. Adults: $10-$12. Ages 5-10: $6, Under 5: free, senior discount available, Friday at 6 p.m.
Maurer Productions OnStage present the adult musical comedy “Avenue Q” at Mercer County Community College. Winner of the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical, “Avenue Q” provides a look at real life in New York City, as told by a colorful cast of people and puppets. The cast includes Bill Mercado of Hightstown as Mrs. T. Note: this show contains adult content and is inappropriate for children. Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets: $14-$18
