DESCRIPTION:It is that time of year &ndash\; Methodist Madness Basketball
  Program will begin its 18th year. It will start on Monday\, July 9th an
 d run through Wednesday\, August 8\, with the Family Picnic and Trophy N
 ight. This year there is a change in the days that the program will run 
 - we will again play on Monday\, but have changed to Wednesday\, not Thu
 rsday. This basketball program is sponsored by the First United Methodis
 t Church (187 Stockton Street in Hightstown) and is open to all children
  of the community from the ages 8 through 18\, at no charge to them. The
  program starts at 6:15 PM and ends at 8:00 PM. The program offers the k
 ids 5 weeks of friendly basketball games\, trophy competitions\, and the
 me nights. Each night there are healthy snack bags and drinks given out\
 , in addition to trophies for nightly competitions. After attending 4 se
 ssions\, all eligible children receive a Methodist Madness T-shirt. For 
 children who are too young for the basketball program there are opportun
 ities to take part in craft nights and other similar activities designed
  for their age. All children are welcome. Encourage you children to come
  out for an evening of fun and friendly competition
