This private, co-educational boarding school serves students in grades 9 through 12 as well as a few pursuing post-graduate studies. As a prep school, Peddie takes students from near and afar. The school made headlines in 1993 when Walter Annenberg, a former ambassador and member of the Class of 1927, donated $100 million, which at the time was the highest donation made to any secondary school in the country. The school welcomes notable guests throughout the years. The sprawling, lakeside campus stretches through a large portion of the borough and resembles those of many colleges.
