  TASK Expands Hightstown Meal Service to Second Night   In collaboration with The First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, Rise: A Community Service Partnership, and The First United Methodist Church of Hightstown, the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) is now offering a second night of free meal service in Hightstown.     The First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown was founded in 1857.  Throughout its long history, its mission activities have reflected a strong commitment to support worthy causes in the local community including the Better Beginning School & Day Care, and Rise: A Community Service Partnership.   Beginning on Monday, May 14th, 2012, the Hightstown Community Dinner will serve dinner every Monday night from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at the Presbyterian Church, located at 320 North Main Street.  This Monday night meal service is in addition to the meal served each Thursday night from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at the First United Methodist Church of Hightstown, located at 187 Stockton Street.   “TASK is very pleased to work with The First Presbyterian Church, The First United Methodist Church, and Rise on this very important program,” explains Dennis Micai, TASK Executive Director, “this collaboration is helping to feed those in need in the Hightstown community as well as offer additional services to improve the quality of life and help folks get back on their feet.”       All meals are provided free of charge on an unconditional, no-questions-asked basis.  For more information about the Hightstown Community Dinner, please call Rise at (609) 443-4464.
