Three Dogs and Two Cats Need Loving Homes

Three dogs and two cats are being featured by Animal Friends for Education and Welfare this week for adoption.

The Animal Friends for Education and Welfare has some new pets up for adoption this week!

Here is the information about the animals, provided by AFEW:

Summer

Well, here I am...after about 5 years and multiple litters my previous owners left me to fend for myself. My foster mom has taken me in with her three other little canine family members. I am about 10 lbs. and will be spayed shortly. I am a work in progress as I learn to share my foster mom with others. I am potty trained and always stay close in the yard! At some point a human stepped on my front right paw so I walk with a bit of a limp...but don't worry, I have learned to get by just fine. I prefer a quiet home and a warm comfy lap to snuggle into!

Windsor

Windsor is a very intelligent boy. He is very good on a leash. He is active and needs daily exercise. Windsor is happiest curled up in a little ball next to his owner or on the couch. He gets along with other dogs but maybe best as the only dog or with people who have experience with multiple dogs. Windsor is crate trained and likes his fluffy bed in his crate. There is no doubt that Windsor will make a great addition to any family who has love to share with this very beautiful boy.

Motorboat & Rocky

Motorboat is a tuxedo with a white tipped tail. He is friendly and outgoing and has a delicate build. He does all the talking, but will take a backseat to his brother.

Rocky is the strong silent type who loves to play laser tag - the kitty kind. He's afraid of thunder so he'll hide under the closest coat or covers during a storm!

These beautiful, bi-color brothers are indoor cats, neutered, 10 yrs old and in excellent health.  They are trained to use the bathroom toilet, but can be reintroduced to a litter box.

Maya

Maya was surrendered by her owner along with two of her pups from a previous litter and her mate. She is now residing in an AFEW foster home. Maya was very pregnant when she came into the shelter on May 19. AFEW placed her in a foster home on May 17.  Maya delivered 12 beautiful pups on Monday, May 27th, Memorial Day. Mom and babies are doing well. Puppies have all been adopted.  Now mom needs a new home!
