Government

East Windsor 

• The East Windsor Planning Board is meeting on Monday at 8 p.m. at the East Windsor Township Municipal Building. The Board will be hearing applications from Elemntis Global, East Windsor Fire Company, and a home on Old Trenton Road. 

Hightstown 

• The Hightstown Planning Board is meeting on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the First Aid Building. 
• The Greenway Walking Bridge Committee is meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Apollo Lodge.
• The Board of Health is meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Housing Authority Conference Room. 
• The Planning Board is holding a workshop meeting on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Historical Society. 
• The Parks & Recreation Commission is meeting on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the First Aid Building. 

• The Cranbury Township Committee is meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Cranbury Municipal building. There will be a second reading of a bond ordinance authorizing the beautification of the historic district.
• The Cranbury Board of Health is meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Gourgaud Gallery within the Cranbury Municipal building. 
• The Municipal Alliance Commission is meeting on Wednesday at 8 a.m. at the Cranbury Library. 
• The Park Planning Commission is meeting on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. at the Gourgaud Gallery.
• The Zoning Board of Adjustment is meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Cranbury Municipal Building.
• The Development Review Committee is meeting on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Gourgaud Gallery.
• The Library Board of Trustees is meeting on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Cranbury Library.

Schools 

The East Windsor Regional School District and the Cranbury School District open on Monday. So get your kids lunches ready and bags packed to hit the bus this morning!

Hightstown High School is having a new turf football field dedication at 7 p.m. on Thursday at 7 p.m.; the varsity football game will follow. 

September 11 Ceremony

East Windsor will be having a ceremony to honor the anniversary of September 11 on Wednesday. There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at the East Windsor 9/11 memorial at 5:45 p.m. The memorial is located on the East Windsor Township municipal building. 

Library

The Hickory Corner Branch is holding a free educational seminar called “The New Economy: Investing in Uncertain Times” which is about the challenges of investing in the current low interest rate environment without exposing assets to excessive risk. The seminar, presented by Integrated Asset Management, will take place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Registration is required.
