Rosh Hashanah Storytime and Craft
The Hickory Corner Library is holding a Rosh Hashanah Storytime and Craft on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, begins on the night of Sept. 4. This event, intended for children 2-years-old and up, teaches children about the holiday. The event is presented by the Shalom Heritage Center, a Jewish Outreach organization based out of East Windsor. Registration is required for this event, please contact 609-448-1330.
Financial Literary Series Seminar
The McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union, located at 120 Windsor Center Drive in East Windsor, is holding a Financial Literary Series seminar on Wednesday at 5 p.m. This seminar is entitled “Reading the Fine Print: Safeguarding your Financial Future through Consumer Protection. Speaker Constance Gustke, a banking and investment expert, will discuss the best investing options, understanding consumer rights, and how to protect personal data. This seminar is free and includes an indoor BBQ dinner.
A Special Borough Council Executive Session meeting is scheduled at the First Aid Building at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The executive meeting is regarding the Borough Administrator, according to a resolution.
The Planning Board is meeting in the Historical Society Building at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
The Environmental Commission meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., has been cancelled.

Cranbury Library Collecting Books
The Friends of the Cranbury Library are collecting books this week for the Cranbury Day Book Sale. Please drop off gently used books at the library this week. Textbooks and magazines will not be accepted.
The 25th Annual Cranbury Trophy Golf Tournament is being held on Monday at Peddie Golf Course in Hightstown. Lunch will be at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
