Art Exhibit Reception at Hickory Corner Library

A look at what's happening in East Windsor, Hightstown and Cranbury on Thursday.

Kathleen Catanese will exhibit more than 20 of her pastel and oil paintings at the Hickory Corner Library through Dec. 27. A free reception for the public is scheduled for Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Catanese received a "Best in Show" award for Paint Out at Princeton’s Communiversity in April 2013. The Hightstown Historic Preservation Commission is meeting at the First United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The Cranbury Development Review Committee is meeting at Cranbury Town Hall at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

The Cranbury Board of Recreation is meeting at the Gourgaud Gallery at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The Cranbury Planning Board is meeting at Cranbury Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with a high near 48 and an overnight low of 36, according to the National Weather Service.
