Bundle Up! 14-Below Wind Chill Hits East Windsor Area

Here is a look at what is going on in East Windsor, Hightstown, and Cranbury today.

1. Weather: Despite being sunny, today will be frigid with a high temperature of 11 with a wind chill value as low as −14, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts today may reach as high 37 MPH. Tonight will be mostly clear with the low dropping to about 4 with the wind chill reaching as low as −11. 

2. Government: 

  • The East Windsor Township Council is meeting at the East Windsor Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m. tonight. The council will be voting on resolutions approving professional service agreements with a township professionals as well as shared service agreements. The council will also be discussing a resolution that has the township endorse Mercer County’s purchase of Skeba Farm. 
  • The Hightstown Environmental Commission is holding their reorganization meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
  • The Cranbury Historic Preservation Commission is holding their reorganization meeting at Cranbury Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

3. ESL Class: There will be an English as a Second Language class at the Hightstown Memorial Library tonight at 7 p.m. Please call the library at 609-448-1474 to register.
