Cranbury Christmas Tree Lighting Tonight
Here is a look at what is going on today in East Windsor, Hightstown, and Cranbury.
1. Weather: The National Weather Service is calling for an 80 percent chance of rain today and a possible thunderstorm; the high temperature will be around 55 degrees. The rain will likely continue into the night and possibly mix with sleet at around 2 a.m. The low temperature will dip to about 33.
2. Schools: The Cranbury School students in grades sixth through eight will be having a Holiday Dance tonight from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
3. Christmas Tree Lighting: The annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Memorial Park is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight. The tree lighting is sponsored by the Woman’s Club of Cranbury. Caroling led by Dorothy Klotzbeacher and the Presbyterian Brass Ensemble will play at the old Cranbury firehouse.
