Friends of Hickory Corner Book Sale Kicks Off

1. Weather: According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high temperature around 53. Tonight will be mostly clear with the low temperature dropping to around 27 degrees. 

2. Government: 

• The Hightstown Parks and Recreation Commission is meeting in the First Aid Building at 7:30 p.m. today.
• The Cranbury Municipal Alliance Commission is meeting in the Cranbury Library at 8 a.m. today.
• The Library Board of Trustees is meeting in the Cranbury Library at 7:30 p.m. today. 

3. Schools: Walter C. Black Elementary School is holding parent-teacher conferences today.

4. Hickory Corner Book Sale: The Friends of the Hickory Corner Library is having a book sale beginning on Thursday at 4 p.m. for members only and then the sale will be open to the public from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The sale will also take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a bag sale on Sunday - all the books you can fit in a bag for $4!
