Hightstown Borough Candidates Night at High School

1. Weather: Today will be partly sunny with a high temperature around 65, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain after 11 p.m. The temperature will dip to around 43 tonight.

2. Government: 

• The East Windsor Mayor and Council is meeting in the East Windsor Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m. tonight. 
• The Hightstown Environmental Commission is meeting at the Housing Authority at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
• The Cranbury Zoning Board of Adjustment is holding a special meeting in the public meeting room of Cranbury Town Hall at 7 p.m. tonight. The meeting is regarding an application by JET USA, LLC, a Jeeyar Asramam located on Dey Road in Cranbury. 

3. Schools: Hightstown High School is holding a Cyberbullying Assembly at 7:30 a.m. today. 

4. Hightstown Borough Candidates Night: The League of Women Voters of East Windsor and Hightstown is hosting a Hightstown Borough Candidates Night tonight at 7 p.m. in the media room of the Hightstown High School. There are two, three-year term seats and four candidates vying for the seats. The Republican incumbents are Selena Bibens and Lynne Woods. The challengers, Denise Hansen and Steven Misiura, are running on the Democratic slate. The moderator will be Nicole Plett of the Lawrence League of Women Voters.
