MCCC Lecture on April 25 Focuses on Environmental Preservation

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will host a public lecture on environmentally friendly practices at Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor campus on Wednesday, April 25, at noon in the Communications Building, room 109.  The talk is part of the college’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

Marc Rogoff, environmental education specialist at DEP, will discuss how the community can help protect the environment for future generations by explaining “friendly” and “unfriendly” practices that affect our natural surroundings.  Using up-to-date statistics and a bit of humor, Rogoff will give an interactive PowerPoint presentation entitled, “Environmental Protection, What You Can Do! . . . More or Less.”

According to Rogoff, “Some common habits that we all share affect the environment.  Some of these are environmentally beneficial and some are detrimental.”
