Both General Operating (GOS) and Special Projects (SP) grants are available to eligible, not-for-profit historical organizations and sites in the County. County-based nonprofit community organizations, local government entities, schools and libraries offering local historical programming and events may also apply for the Special Projects grants.

This year (through February 2014) is Mercer County’s 175th Anniversary and in 2014, the State of New Jersey observes its 350th Anniversary. The Cultural and Heritage Commission will be particularly interested in history projects that honor these momentous commemorative years.
