Reminder: Doggie Treat Truck Visiting Hightstown Today

Local canines can get doggy ice cream and cookies.

The Best Friends Pet Care Treat Truck for Dogs is coming to Hightstown today, and throughout the weekend, providing cookies and ice cream for furry friends.

The colorful, doggy-logo’d truck will be visiting local dog parks and other pet friendly locations. At each stop, the staff gives away doggy ice cream treats and cookies for pups and healthy treats for their humans, along with fun items like tennis balls, paw towels and paw-shaped bag clips.

  • Friday, March 30 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Pet Valu, 19 US Highway 130
  • Sunday, April 1 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pet Valu, 19 US Highway 130
  • Sunday, April 1 from 1:45 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Precious Pets, 625 Route 33 W
  • Monday, April 2 from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Precious Pets, 625 Route 33 W

Stops will also be made in Windsor, Kingston, North Brunswick, Trenton, Jansburg and Princeton.

Best Friends created its Treat Truck for Dogs to give the community a taste of the fun and caring its staff provides to pet guests every day in its pet care centers. The Treat Truck has been on the road since last summer and visited the region briefly last July. The truck has visited 12 states, traveling as far south as Florida and west to Texas.
