Rise To Honor Volunteers

Rise to the TASK celebrates its first year with dinner, and a course on breastfeeding.

The Rise to the TASK dinner at the Hightstown First Presbyterian Church will celebrate its one-year anniversary on Monday, May 13.

During this first year, the group has served more than 8,000 meals, 175 per week every Monday night.

In addition to celebrating and recognizing the appreciation of the volunteers who helped make with possible, Rise also will offer a class on breastfeeding during the dinner.  The program is the first of step toward Rise’s goal of providing programming and information for basic childcare to struggling young families.
