Art Reception: “All About the Birds” the Art of Necati Itez at the Gourgaud Gallery

“All About the Birds” the Art of Necati Itez will be on view at the Gourgaud Gallery from Aug 5-26.

The paintings include interesting and unusual birds of this country with a landscape as background. Most of the thirty paintings on exhibit are in acrylic, some are painted in watercolor.

After an education in art and specializing in textile design, the artist worked as a textile designer, including designing for the Burlington Industries. After retiring Mr. Necati Itez, a Monroe Township resident, is dedicating himself to the fine arts. He started with drawing first and now loves to paint.
