Book Signing with Richard (Rick) Pratt,

The Hightstown-East Windsor Historical Society is sponsoring a book signing on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. by Hightstown resident, Richard (Rick) Pratt, author of his new book, "A Guide to the Architecture of Hightstown Houses."

Pratt will speak briefly about the book, which showcases the architecture in Hightstown from 1785 through approximately 1970. His book is the result of three years work with input from Christian Kirkpatrick, Julie Ely, Douglas Mariboe and Robert Craig, all members of the Society, as well as several other contributors, including Alan Hewitt, Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, who wrote the foreword.

Copies of the book will be available at the signing for $25.
