Hightstown High School 100 Year Celebration

The program about the local school's history is scheduled for Sept. 29.

The Hightstown-East Windsor Historical Society, located at 164 North Main Street in Hightstown, is sponsoring a program about the history of both East Windsor and Hightstown schools on Sunday, September 29 at 3 p.m.

This free program will begin with a short talk on the area's early schools, including the Stockton Street School, which opened 100 years ago. Also, a round table of teachers and administrators will be sharing their memories of school life within the East Windsor School District.

Photographs, drawings, and memorabilia from the local schools will be on display at the Hickory Corner Library in East Windsor and at the historical society headquarters.
