Senior Moments

We Babyboomers don't seem to be the targeted demographic for most social media. Follow a blog that focuses on us and our "Senior Moments"

Senior Moments will focus on all the things that we Baby Boomers are experiencing now as we retire, travel a bit more and also cut out as many restaurant coupons so we can eat out for free every night. There are thousands of us out there who cannot fathom why our 6-year-old grandchildren have app's on their Itouch screens. We still go to the post office to mail thank you notes (we don't see- e-thanks) and  we stand in line at the local bank to deposit a paper check (we don't scan our checks into our Smartypants phones).

Now that I've got those annoying items checked off the grouch list, this blog will reflect on how we older folks (anyone over 50 I guess) see the world.

For starters, Google now has Google glasses? I can't find my own reading glasses even though I bought the multi-pack of 6 at Wal-Mart. Why do I have to keep changing my password and user name to see my banking balance? Password used to be a morning quiz show. A user used to be someone like your Uncle Joe who took advantage of you. Why are there only special parking spots for handicapped seniors? Don't get me wrong. They deserve those spots. Why not parking spots at Target for 65 and over? (just leave your Medicare card on the dash as proof). Don't get me started with the folks who park in those handicap spots and run in to Walgreen's to get milk.

This blog will ask those and many other questions that deal with us Seniors and their moments. It has been said that the smart man catches on while the wise man knows when to let go.
