Updated: Charlie Brown's Opening Wednesday, Liquor License Approved

East Windsor council approved the liquor license transfer Tuesday night.

will be open on Wednesday after the transfer of the liquor license was approved by the East Windsor Township council Tuesday night. 

East Windsor council members approved a resolution with a 5-0 vote to transfer the license to the new corporation - from Charlie Brown’s of East Windsor LLC to CB East Windsor, LLC.

Charlie Brown's was waiting for the approval of the transfer to open its doors Wednesday night for dinner, said General Manager Faith Ostroff.

, but was postponed due to the liquor license transfer. The restaurant has hired more than 75 local employeees and rennovated the building by adding new booths, new flooring in the bar and a fresh coat of paint.

A ribbon cutting is scheduled with Mayor Janice Mironov on Thursday at 4 p.m.
