Chipotle Mexican Grill to Open in West Windsor

Chipotle Mexican Grill is coming to West Windsor and is actively seeking employees for its new location at the Square at West Windsor on Route 1, at the corner of Meadow Road.

It's unclear when the gourmet burrito restaurant will open its doors at 3524 Route 1 but the company is advertising the positions of kitchen manager, service manager and restaurant team members on its website. 

The company lists the restaurant's status as "opening soon."

A Chipotle representative was not immediately available for more specific information the new location. 

Chipotle prides itself on using fresh ingredients and simple menu to create fast but filling burritos, burrito bowls, tacos and salad.

Earlier this year, former West Windsor Business Administrator Robert Hary told NJ.com that Chipotle would take up some of the space then occupied by the Ethan Allen Furniture Store. 

Other nearby Chipotle locations are at 543 Shoppes Blvd. in North Brunswick, 387 George St. in New Brunswick and 619 State Route 18 in East Brunswick
