Joe Canal's Discount Liquor Outlet Coming to Hightstown
The new liquor store will move into the current Hedy's Liquor location.
Joe Canal’s Discount Liquor Outlet will be opening in Hightstown on Mercer Street in the current location, according to a sign outside the building.
The council approved a resolution for liquor license on Monday with both Joe Canal’s and Hedy’s Liquor listed.
A “coming soon” sign can be seen in front of the store, which remains open as Hedy’s Liquor. The owner of Joe Canal’s could not be reached for comment.

Joe Canal’s has 13 locations in New Jersey, according to the website.
