Bancroft's Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program Receives $2 Million Gift from Lynda and Stewart Resnick

Bancroft, a leading provider of programs and support for children and adults with autism, acquired brain injuries, and varied intellectual or developmental disabilities, is pleased to announce a $2 million grant from Lynda and Stewart Resnick through The Resnick Foundation. The grant will be used to secure additional customized space, procure state-of-the-art equipment, and strengthen innovative programs at the Bancroft Resnick Center at Mt. Laurel, which will have a special focus on serving veterans.

“We are so excited about the possibilities created by this generous grant. We are looking forward to having the means to provide much needed services to individuals with brain injuries and their loved ones, especially veterans,” said Cynthia Boyer, Ph.D., executive director of Bancroft Brain Injury Rehabilitation.

The donation will enable Bancroft Brain Injury Rehabilitation to expand services to outpatients, including veterans with traumatic brain injury. Currently occupying 8,000 square feet, plans are to move to an 18,000-square-foot building with specialized space for Occupational and Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Neuropsychology, Therapeutic Activities and Health and Wellness programs like t’ai chi, yoga and mindfulness as well as nutrition counseling.
