“Following Sandy’s wrath, our practice was closed for a week, which had a huge impact on patient care, and many of our employees experienced damage to their homes and properties,” said Kristine Belser, Director of Human Resources at Mercer Bucks Cardiology. “We are proud to partner with the WCEC and have our employees trained through its program, as we consistently encourage all employees to grow and better themselves. Customer service is the cornerstone of the patient experience and care.”

Mercer Bucks Cardiology is the leading provider of complete cardiovascular health services, serving patients throughout Mercer County, NJ, and Bucks County, PA. Its focus is to provide compassionate care to patients and their families in a community setting, while utilizing the latest technology in diagnostic testing and treating strategies.

Approximately 15 clinical and non-clinical employees from various offices will be trained at the workshop. This session is not open to the public but additional workshops are offered through the WCEC and its We’re Storming Back program. Program and workshop information can be found at www.stormingback.org.

“Almost a year after Hurricane Sandy tore our state apart, local businesses are continuing to recover,” said Penni Nafus, Executive Director of the WCEC. “We want all New Jersey businesses to know that resources are available at no cost to them to help in their recovery and provide them with the tools for continued, long-term success.”
