So Let's be Thankful

Take a moment to be Thankful today, tomorrow and everyday this month.

Early last week, I came across a post on facebook from a friend and fellow Patch Blogger that made me not only put my cup of coffee down, but changed my entire week.

This post indicated that are 24 days until Thanksgiving and beginning that day, this person would post daily what she is thankful for.

Brilliant.  Everything about this idea seemed perfect to me.  With her permission, I borrowed the idea and began to write on my blog what I was thankful for on that particular day.  Sometimes funny.  Sometimes serious.  Sometimes down right silly.

After a full week of sharing what I was thankful for, I began seeing others share their thanks too on facebook, twitter and in conversation.  Even my young children have joined in the fun.  "I am thankful that mommy let me drink chocolate milk", noted my youngest.

So during this month of Thanksgiving, I encourage you to do the same.  Post your daily thanks on facebook or twitter or even attached to this entry.  Daily life can be stressful, but taking a moment to find one thing to be thankful can bring some happiness and cheer.
