Rough Day for Storm vs. Twin County

Toughing it out with back Meg Regan sidelined with a concussion, keeper Mary Kate Hartnett, relegated to mid-fielder with an injured hand, and backup Keeper Nikki Masone playing the entire game with an injured foot, Storm suffered a tough 4-0 loss against Twin County in Brick.  Storm's front line of Jessica Saldutti and Ariana Roco battled hard in the first half , missing on several chances with the help of Center-Mid Grace O'Leary.  Twin County found the twine late in the half off a mad scramble in front of the exhausted defense.
Throughout the second, Sweeper Danielle Faup desperately defended off countless breakaways from an aggressively positioned Twin County front three.  Despite a valiant effort from Katie Bertrand, Erin DiPiano and Mikayla Capasso on the back line Twin County managed 3 more goals in the second to put the game out of reach.
