Animal Friends for Education and Welfare Finds Home for Maggie
Maggie has been with the shelter and foster home since Dec. 2010.
A pup that has been with an Animal Friends for Education and Welfare foster home and the Hamilton Animal Shelter since 2010 was recently given a new home.
The Knutson family from Garwood went to the shelter’s St. PETricks Day event in Hamilton on March 17 and immediately asked for Maggie – they had come to adopt her, according to A.F.E.W.
Maggie, who is a Shar Pei/Staffi mix, . A.F.E.W. boarded her on Aug. 6, 2011 until she was adopted last month.

“[Maggie] was one of the sweetest girls A.F.E.W. has had the pleasure to work with,” a news release said.
