Local and state women officials were honored by East Windsor Township Mayor Janice Mironov for Women's History Month.
“Women have participated widely and strived to make advances in our society through social activity, labor organizations, education, medicine, economics, the arts, politics and charitable causes," Mironov said in a proclamation. "Women have made important changes in areas including social reform, women’s equality, health care reform, education reform, archaeology and anthropology, business and politics.”
